Relationships

Ahh relationships...full of love, hate, sadness, happiness, confusion -- frustration. I finally had a talk with my boyfriend about our relationship. Pretty much I told him that I thought he was being lazy and not giving two shits about our relationship. He agreed with my accusations and agreed to make a change. I am really hoping he does make a change because I really love this man and I dont want to loose him, but I do know that love cant put food on the table and a roof over your head. So I'm trying to be smart about our situation. If I dont see an improvement soon, I am afraid I am going to call it quits.

New People

Yesterday was such a busy day. I went to my botany lab from 10:00 to 12:15, then I came home and gave Corbin his lunch and put him down for a nap. Since I no longer work for the pet store, I am working for my grandfather now. I clean up his bedroom and bathroom, do his laundary, run him around town...pretty much just maintain his life since he really cant do much for himself. I spent 3 hours cleaning his bedroom! He is a typical old person - a pack rat. I found receipts from a grocery store in 1988! He has cloths that he has gotten 4 Christmas's ago, still in the gift boxes they came in. I was so amazed. The worst thing about cleaning his room is the fact that he chews that nasty tobacco crap and since he is old he doesnt have good enough aim to spit it into the waste basket. So instead it ends up on the floor and his night stand. I used a whole can of spot cleaner just around his waste basket and it really didnt help a whole lot. The next task for tomorrow is cleaning his bathroom, which i know is going to take me forever. I just have to remember, I am making more money than I did at the pet store and working less hours.
Last night I went bowling with a group of transfer students from spring arbor. It was a pretty interesting night. I felt like an outsider the entire night since i didnt know anyone. Then the girls were so hyper! I didnt realize how crazy girls could be since its been a while since i have hung out with other girls. I was hoping to meet new friends, but I dont think i met anyone I'd wanna keep talking to. Oh well, perhaps I am not ment to have real friends at spring arbor...

Wonderful Day

Today, I finally met some of the ladies from my mom and tots group. They are all wonderful ladies with cute kids. A few of us got together at the park this afternoon, the kids seemed to enjoy it. Corbin was having a ball going down the slides, but freaked out when i put him the swing. Which is quite odd because he usually likes to swing. Overall, I think he had a good time. Later on a bunch of the moms got together for a "moms night out", which was much needed. It went really well, I had fun. Its nice to hang out with other women for a change. I cant wait to do it again.
