Happy Birthday Baby

Yesterday was my boyfriends 30th birthday. I still can't believe he is that much older than me [almost 10 years older than me]. I like to pick on him and call him my old man. I was planning a nice quiet semi romantic dinner for him and at the last minute his ex called and needed him to watch her little girl. So it ended up being dinner for 3 instead of two. To make it worse, my boyfriend wasnt feeling to well so he didnt eat as much as he usually does and his daugher would touch my food. I cooked chicken n dumplin's, she just kept poking at the dumplin's. I did make him a sweet little card, though. He seemed to like it. I just wish I could have done more for him. Maybe some other time.
